I have discussed with a few old married couples individually and I noticed that most people just lose the vibe for each other after a fairly long time in marriage. I mean they just get bored. The marriage becomes more like a contract, an obligation, cliché and thus boring. You are obligated to take care of the children as the mother of the house, cook, go to work if you are not a housewife.
Worse for men, no sex because the mother is always tired, old too and her lady parts might not be appealing to you anymore. One thing leads to another and in no time, you find yourself having an affair outside your marriage. Don’t get me wrong, there are couples who never got tired of each other till death. I think it is all about commitment.

Married people feel a little empty and needy that is why they look out to get what they are not getting from their marriage. You see old men hanging out with hot models and getting quality sex they no longer get in their marriage. Some wives no longer feel the affection from their husbands, they feel trapped in marriage and commitment that they just want to get out. So, they just go out and meet other married men looking to fill a void too.
UNHAPPINESS
Fighting all the time could be a reason married people seek for an affair outside the marriage. When you are unhappy then you seek to find happiness elsewhere. Being unsatisfied with the kind of spouse you settled for might be the reason why you are having problem in your marriage. It could be anything dissatisfying you in the marriage.
